Started the boarding process at 1340 only to be told before we got on the aircraft that there was a technical problem. A reboot necessary? The aviation gods were obviously thinking that we'll teach that smug individual a lesson!
Ok, ok I promise to be very very much more humble from now on. Please just get the aircraft fixed so we can set off on holiday.
1455 update from the Captain and very good, indeed most impressive from a passenger perspective.
"He won't be flying us anywhere until he is 100% happy that the aircraft is fixed."
1500. It's fixed and boarding to commence shortly. No prayers for us needed as I am confident of a safe flight and the knowledge that my next post will be from Houston............I hope?
